Why You Might Want to Join These Calls

As a member of our Cancer: Just the Facts community, you probably already have an idea of how much there is to learn about all the different cancer diagnostics and treatments, and how challenging it can be to figure out what treatment you need…

Let alone the critical task of figuring out how to access that treatment asap!

This is why I created this online Self-Advocacy and Support program in the first place – to help cancer patients and their loved ones to learn how to better understand precision cancer medicine and how to successfully advocate for the treatments and testing that they need.

The goal of this program is to make this highly important (and confusing and stressful) time of navigating the world of cancer care and recovery easier and more successful for every patient.

These live, drop-in Zoom calls are for anyone – whether you are a patient, advocate, and/or loved one – who has questions about how to figure out what to do, or say, in order to advocate for yourself or a loved one and how to take action on getting cancer better care.

So, starting now, I am going to be live on Zoom two times per week: Monday and Thursday at 7:30am to 8:30am PDT (10:30am to 11:30am EDT) for you to drop in as needed to get the support and guidance you need.

Join me if you are trying to find answers to questions such as…

  • How can I know if my diagnosis is as accurate as it can be?
  • How can I figure out if there are treatment options I haven’t identified yet?
  • How can I get my doctor on board with something they didn’t suggest but which is a good fit for me?
  • How can I figure out if there is a better treatment option for me than what I’ve been prescribed?
  • What should I do if my doctor isn’t willing to help me access certain tests or treatments that I know will benefit me?
  • How can I talk to my doctor about getting the treatment I want?
  • What can I do if I’m afraid of alienating my doctor?
  • How can I get new treatments fully covered?
  • How can I get my doctor to actually prescribe the treatment I want?
  • How can I find out what the ‘right’ diet is for my specific situation?
  • How can I know which supplements are best for me?

...I’ll be there, on Zoom, Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30am to 8:30am PDT for:
